Role and Responsibilities:
At CACTUS, we edit documents across a wide variety of academic disciplines in the humanities, life sciences, medicine, physical sciences, and engineering. As an Editorial Feedback Specialist, you will be affiliated with one of our editorial teams (based on your subject-area). You will evaluate documents that have already been edited and provide feedback to the editors in an objective, actionable, and constructive manner. In doing so, you will enable editors to improve the quality of their work while also ensuring that our clients receive better output.
Required candidate profile:
A degree (bachelors, masters, PhD, etc.) in Medicine, Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Engineering or Humanities
Ability to communicate and resolve conflict effectively.
Steep learning curve.
Responsiveness to feedback.
Computer literate with good communication skills.
Prior experience in a communications-related role (preferable).
