JOB DESCRIPTION

•Coordination & Liaison with railway authorities in Zonal and Divisional level 
•Coordination with Plant's team & Railway Advisors to sort out specific problems like stabling, congestion, restrictions, non-availability of rakes
•Analysis of Rail activities for Plants & Depots
•Support minimize Demurrages across plants / Depot location partnering with Secondary / plant logistics and  railway division
•Strategic rail initiatives 

 

•Planning, organizing and controlling all commercial aspects related to Railways
•Railways Commercial Scheme analysis & submission to Higher authorities for implementation
•Controlling Railway Expenses (DC, Wharfage, EHC, POL & Dead Freight) by highlighting constraints
•Cost Savings Initiatives by examining various Railway rules and Scheme and its application in our plants
•Industry rail dispatch insights tracking
