Job Overview

  • Salary: ₹20,904.74–₹35,198.76 per month
  • Experience Required: Minimum 4 years in project sales/industrial equipment sales
  • Education Required: BE in Mechanical or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory)
  • This role requires a dynamic sales engineer who can blend technical expertise with client relationship management to drive project sales across Eastern India.

Job Responsibilities

  • Sales & Lead Generation
    • Identify and generate inquiries within capital goods, automation, air piping, and compressor industries.
    • Develop new business opportunities and nurture long-term client relationships.
  • Client Engagement
    • Meet clients to understand project needs and propose suitable solutions.
    • Provide technical consultations and explain product/service benefits.
  • Offer Preparation
    • Prepare accurate quotations and commercial offers.
    • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure pricing accuracy and feasibility.
  • Travel & Site Visits
    • Conduct frequent client visits, inspections, and project discussions across Eastern India.
  • Collaboration & Reporting
    • Coordinate with project and technical teams for smooth execution.
    • Maintain CRM records for leads, opportunities, and sales progress.
    • Report regularly to management on sales pipeline and project updates.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Education:
    • BE in Mechanical Engineering OR
    • Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 4 years in project sales or industrial equipment sales.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
    • Technical aptitude to understand client needs and propose solutions.
    • Willingness to travel extensively within Eastern India.

Required Skills

  • Expertise in mechanical systems, automation, compressors, and industrial equipment.
  • Strong sales acumen with a proven track record in project sales.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in preparing quotations, proposals, and sales reports.
