Job Responsibilities
The role of Trainer (Executive / Assistant Manager – Training) is central to the organization’s HR strategy. You will be responsible for equipping employees with the necessary skills, knowledge, and behavioral competencies to drive business growth.
Key responsibilities include:
- Training Delivery & Facilitation
- Conduct induction programs for new employees.
- Deliver training on microfinance concepts, loan processes, recovery methods, and customer service.
- Organize refresher and skill enhancement sessions.
- Training Content Development
- Develop and update training materials, manuals, and role-play activities.
- Use real-life case studies and adult learning methodologies to engage participants.
- Field Support & On-the-Job Training
- Visit branches to observe practices and mentor staff.
- Identify skill gaps and provide coaching to field officers and branch managers.
- Monitoring & Evaluation
- Assess effectiveness of training using tests, role-plays, and feedback sessions.
- Track employee performance post-training and recommend improvements.
- Compliance & Organizational Culture
- Promote ethical values, customer protection principles, and responsible lending.
- Encourage professionalism and a customer-first approach across all branches.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Graduate/Postgraduate in Social Work, Management, Rural Development, or related fields.
- Experience:
- 2–4 years of experience in financial services or microfinance.
- At least 2 years of experience in training/facilitation preferred.
- Languages: English and Bengali (local language proficiency highly preferred).
- Others: Must be willing to travel extensively to branches and field locations.
Required Skills
- Excellent presentation and communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities.
- Good understanding of microfinance operations (group lending, JLG model, credit appraisal).
- Proficiency in using digital training tools and e-learning platforms.
- Analytical skills to measure training impact and effectiveness.
- Ability to work independently and handle field-based responsibilities.
Salary
- Starting Salary: From ₹20,000 per month
