SSC GD Constable Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online for 25,487 Constable & Rifleman Posts
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification for the recruitment of
Constable (GD) and Rifleman (GD) posts.
A total of 25,487 vacancies are available across various CAPFs and Rifleman units.
Eligible candidates who have passed 10th class can apply online through the official SSC website, ssc.gov.in.
The last date to submit the online application is 31 December 2025.

🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Citizen of India
- Must possess valid Domicile/PRC of the State/UT selected in the application
- Matriculation / 10th Class pass from a recognized Board as on 01-01-2026
- NCC Certificate holders may get bonus marks (as per rules)
🎂 Age Limit (as on 01-01-2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age: 23 Years
- Born between 02-01-2003 and 01-01-2008
- Age Relaxation:
- SC/ST – 5 Years
- OBC – 3 Years
- Ex-Servicemen – 3 Years (after deduction of military service)
- 1984 Riot Victims’ Children – up to 10 Years (category-wise)
💰 Salary / Allowances
- Pay Level-3: ₹21,700 – ₹69,100 per month
- Dearness Allowance (DA)
- House Rent Allowance (HRA)
- Other allowances as admissible
