Job Overview
- The Power Electronics Engineer will play a crucial role in the design, simulation, testing, and validation of power converter systems. The candidate will work with MATLAB/Simulink, PCB design, IGBT-based power converters, DSP control programming, and hardware assembly.

Job Responsibilities
- Simulation & Modeling
- Carry out advanced simulations using MATLAB/Simulink and PLECS for converter design.
- Analyze power losses, efficiency, and thermal management.
- Develop mathematical models for control algorithms.
- Design & Development
- Design IGBT-based power converters for rail and industrial applications.
- Work on circuit layout design, PCB design, and prototyping.
- Implement EMI/EMC standards in converter designs.
- Support mechanical design teams in enclosure and thermal solutions.
- Assembly & Testing
- Assemble and integrate power converter hardware.
- Perform functional testing, validation, and troubleshooting of modules.
- Conduct load testing and endurance testing for real-world conditions.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (ISO/IEC/UL).
- Control & Programming
- Develop DSP-based control codes using Code Composer Studio.
- Implement control algorithms like PWM techniques, current control, and fault detection.
- Optimize converter performance through real-time system testing.
- Documentation & Reporting
- Prepare technical reports, design documents, and testing manuals.
- Maintain proper records of test results, performance logs, and design iterations.
- Present findings and improvements to senior engineers and management.
- Collaboration & Support
- Work with cross-functional teams (design, testing, and production).
- Support manufacturing in the scale-up process of power converters.
- Assist in vendor discussions, procurement, and component selection.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in international outbound call centers (USA campaign preferred).
- Age Limit: 18–33 years.
- Languages Required: Fluent in English (spoken & written).
- Other Skills:
- Excellent communication & persuasion skills.
- Knowledge of CRM tools and basic computer skills.
- Ability to work night shifts.
Required Skills
- Educational Qualification
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering (mandatory).
- M.Tech in Power Electronics or a related specialization (preferred).
- Experience
- 2–3 years of relevant industry experience in power electronics (preferred).
- Freshers with exceptional academic projects and internships may also be considered.
- Technical Knowledge
- Strong foundation in Power Electronics, Electrical Machines, and Control Systems.
- Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, and circuit simulation tools.
- Experience with PCB design and assembly processes.
- Knowledge of IGBT/MOSFET-based converter topologies.
- Familiarity with DSPs, microcontrollers, and embedded systems programming.
- Additional Skills
- Understanding of thermal management, EMI/EMC compliance, and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and datasheets.
- Good documentation, report writing, and presentation skills.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting abilities.
- Soft Skills
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong communication skills for technical discussions.
- Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt quickly.

Salary
- Base Salary: ₹14,583 – ₹39,583 per month
- Performance Incentives: Up to ₹20,000 extra every month
- Total Earning Potential: Up to ₹60,000 per month (Salary + Incentives)
- Shift: Night Shift (8:00 PM – 5:00 AM IST)
