Job Overview
- The Customer Support Specialist will be responsible for handling inbound and outbound calls, managing recruitment-related communication, maintaining reports, and ensuring high-quality service for international clients.
- This role is office-based in Kolkata and requires working night shifts (US shift, Monday to Friday). It is ideal for candidates with prior experience in international BPO voice processes who wish to grow their careers in customer support, communication, and global process management.
Job Responsibilities
- As a Customer Support Specialist, you will:
- Inbound & Outbound Communication
- Handle inbound calls with professionalism and proper call etiquette.
- Initiate outbound calls to shortlisted candidates for recruitment processes.
- Follow up via phone calls, chat, and email as required.
- Recruitment Process Support
- Work on job boards and manage job portal listings.
- Communicate effectively with candidates at different hiring stages.
- Engage in negotiation and build rapport with potential hires.
- Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain daily MIS reports to track candidate engagement and process efficiency.
- Document communication logs and ensure process compliance.
- Client & Candidate Interaction
- Ensure clear and professional communication with international clients and candidates.
- Maintain a neutral English accent to communicate effectively with US-based stakeholders.
- Workplace Contribution
- Manage work pressure with a positive attitude.
- Contribute to the team’s overall success by meeting performance goals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:
- Minimum 12th Pass (Higher Secondary)—mandatory.
- Bachelor’s degree – preferred.
- Experience:
- Minimum 1–2 years of international BPO voice process experience is required.
- Prior exposure in overseas recruitment support (voice-based, non-technical) is an added advantage.
- Language:
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Ability to maintain a neutral English accent.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in handling inbound and outbound voice processes.
- Basic computer knowledge and MS Office skills.
- Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to work night shifts (US shift).
- Should be able to handle work-related pressure and tight deadlines.
- Must be willing to start immediately.
