Job Responsibilities
- As a Fresher Mechanical Engineer, your role will focus on assisting plant operations and supporting senior engineers. Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting in the operation and maintenance of textile machinery like stenters, dyeing machines, calenders, dryers, and other fabric-processing equipment.
- Supporting senior engineers in troubleshooting mechanical issues, performing root cause analysis, and ensuring smooth production flow.
- Monitoring machine performance and suggesting improvements for better efficiency, energy saving, and reduced downtime.
- Participating in preventive maintenance schedules and conducting machine inspections to ensure reliability.
- Maintaining proper documentation for machine maintenance, calibration, and repair logs.
- Coordinating with production, quality control, and electrical departments for seamless operations.
- Learning and applying knowledge of textile processes, mechanical systems, and design principles.
- Ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality protocols inside the plant.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering
- (2023 & 2024 pass-outs are preferred)
- Experience:
- No prior experience required – Freshers are eligible
- Internship or project experience in mechanical/industrial sector will be an added advantage
- Location Requirement:
- Must be willing to work in Brahmapur, Kolkata
- Should be ready to work in rotational/weekend shifts if required

- Strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals
