Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance strategies to ensure smooth functioning of equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance checks to identify faults, monitor performance, and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment failures, including replacing parts and making corrective adjustments.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to enhance machinery life and improve operational reliability.
- Identify and implement improvements in equipment performance and processes.
- Collaborate with production teams and other departments to coordinate maintenance activities without disrupting operations.
- Maintain accurate documentation, records, and reports related to maintenance schedules, repair logs, and energy consumption.
- Order and track spare parts and equipment, ensuring inventory is managed efficiently.
- Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Handle tenant-related tasks, including managing electricity, water, CAM charges, and generating bills.
- Monitor and manage Shift Engineers and allocate duties accordingly.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly energy consumption reports to the General Manager (Operations).
- Track and complete all tenant-related maintenance work orders and provide completion reports.
- Ensure AMC schedules are strictly followed for all equipment on the premises (including mall management tasks).
- Coordinate with government departments and maintain good working relationships for smooth compliance.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering (preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 2+ years of work experience in maintenance engineering or facility management.
- Must be capable of handling equipment operations, preventive maintenance, and documentation independently.
- Ability to commute or relocate to Agarpara, Kolkata, is essential.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of preventive & corrective maintenance techniques.
- Hands-on experience with troubleshooting and repairing machinery.
- Proficiency in documentation and report preparation.
- Leadership ability to manage shift engineers and maintenance teams.
- Budget management and resource allocation skills.
- Good communication and ability to coordinate with tenants and government bodies.

- Salary Range: ₹35,000 – ₹40,000 per month
