- Position: Field/Regional Sales Engineer (Industrial Products)
- Company: UPTALENT
- Location: Salt Lake, Kolkata (covering Eastern India: Asansol, Durgapur, Siliguri, Hooghly, Jamshedpur, Guwahati, Chhattisgarh & more)
- Job Type: Full-time, on-site
- Experience Required: 2–3 years in field sales/marketing (preferably in engineering/industrial products)
- Education: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / B.Tech (Mechanical)
- Languages: English + regional language
- Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000 per month (up to ₹3.6 LPA)
Job Responsibilities
- Drive aggressive sales promotions and market penetration through calls and daily client visits.
- Generate new customer databases while maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
- Conduct technical and commercial discussions with clients to recommend suitable products.
- Work closely with the back office and dispatch teams for smooth order execution.
- Ensure timely order finalization and meet assigned sales targets.
- Provide prompt problem-solving support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Collect payments on time and manage outstanding dues.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports as per company guidelines.
Eligibility Criteria
- Diploma or B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience in field sales and marketing.
- Must be comfortable with frequent travel across eastern India.
- Strong technical understanding of industrial/engineering products.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills in English and local languages.
- Excellent sales and negotiation abilities.
- Strong customer relationship management.
- Ability to work independently with high energy and discipline.
Salary
- Monthly Salary: ₹25,000 – ₹35,000
- Annual CTC: Up to ₹3.6 Lakhs
