🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Educational: Matriculation (10th) or its equivalent from a recognized board.
- Sports Qualification: Only players who have participated or won medal(s) at the levels specified in the advertisement during the last two years from the closing date will be considered.
- Physical Standards:
- Height: Male – 170 cm; Female – 157 cm.
- Chest (Male): Un-expanded 80 cm, minimum expansion 5 cm.
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
- Medical Standards: Medical exam as per the revised MHA guidelines (as amended from time to time).
- Eye Sight: Minimum distance vision shall be 6/6 & 6/9 for both eyes without correction.
📆 Age Limit
- Minimum Age: 18 years (as on 01-08-2025)
- Maximum Age: 23 years (as on 01-08-2025)
- Relaxation in age will be applicable as per the prevalent Recruitment Rules.
💰 Salary
Level - 3 pay matrix: Rs. 21,700 - 69,100/- plus other allowances as admissible to Central Government employees.

- SC / ST / Female / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Exempted / NIL as specified.
📝 Selection Process
- Online application and uploaded certificates will be scrutinized.
- Candidates securing minimum qualifying marks (12 marks for all categories) in scrutiny will be issued online admit cards.
- Recruitment stages include: Physical Verification of Documents, Physical Standard Test (PST), and Detailed Medical Examination by the Recruiting Agency.
- Only candidates with their sports discipline certificates uploaded in their profile on the BSF recruitment portal (before applying) will be considered; failure to upload will lead to rejection during scrutiny.
