Job Overview
- Position: SCADA Engineer
- Company: L. B. Engineering Pvt. Ltd.
- Location: Uttarpara, West Bengal (Project Site: Paradeep, Odisha)
- Job Type: Full-time (On-site)
- Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹35,000 per month
- Experience Required: Minimum 2–3 years
- Education Required:
- B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience, OR
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering with at least 3 years of experience.
Job Responsibilities
- Designing, developing, and implementing SCADA systems for industrial process automation.
- Configuring and maintaining PLCs, RTUs, and HMIs.
- Performing system troubleshooting, debugging, and real-time testing.
- Preparing detailed technical documentation, reports, and user manuals.
- Ensuring network connectivity, cybersecurity, and data integrity of SCADA systems.
- Supporting installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities on-site.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams for smooth system integration and optimization.
- Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and industry regulations.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or related field.
- Experience: 3–5 years of supervisory experience in a chemical manufacturing or process industry.
- Other Requirements: Ability to work in rotational shifts and in a chemical factory environment.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of SCADA platforms (Wonderware, WinCC, iFIX, Ignition).
- Hands-on experience with PLC programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley, Schneider, etc.).
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profibus, OPC, DNP3, IEC 61850).
- Expertise in HMI design, data logging, and reporting tools.
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills for hardware/software systems.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-team projects.
Salary
- Salary offered: ₹15,000 – ₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and qualifications.
