Job Overview
- Position: Production Manager – Transmission Line Products (TLP)

- Education Required: Master’s degree or Diploma in Mechanical / Production / Electrical Engineering

- Salary Range: ₹800,000 – ₹900,000 per year
Job Responsibilities
- Production Oversight
- Manage production of TLPs like suspension clamps, tension clamps, PG clamps, vibration dampers, spacers, and insulator hardware fittings.
- Ensure all products comply with IS/IEC standards and customer specifications.
- Planning & Coordination
- Monitor and control production schedules to meet project deadlines.
- Collaborate with Design, QA/QC, Planning, and Supply Chain for smooth order execution.
- Process Improvements
- Drive cost reduction and efficiency improvement initiatives.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and TPM practices across the factory floor.
- Quality Assurance
- Conduct daily production reviews and root cause analysis.
- Ensure proper documentation and traceability as per customer QA plans.
- Team & Workforce Management
- Lead shop-floor teams, including shift in-charges, operators, and technicians.
- Provide leadership, training, and supervision to ensure workforce efficiency.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education – Master’s Degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Electrical Engineering
- Experience—10+ years in Transmission Line Hardware/Accessories Manufacturing
Required Skills
- Technical Expertise—Hot forging, die casting, CNC machining, galvanizing, and surface treatment processes
- Domain Knowledge—Hands-on experience with Railways (RDSO), NTPC, PGCIL, SEBs projects preferred
- Quality Systems—Strong knowledge of QA/QC protocols, audits, and product testing
- Leadership—Strong planning, communication, and people management skills
Salary
- Salary Range: ₹800,000 – ₹900,000 per year
- Pay scale will depend on skills, industry exposure, and project experience.
