Job Overview
Genix Resources Pvt. Ltd is hiring a Maintenance Engineer for its Agarpara operations. This role is ideal for professionals who have strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance in industrial environments.
As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that equipment and facilities function reliably, efficiently, and safely. You will plan and execute maintenance strategies, minimize downtime, and improve machinery performance. The role involves hands-on technical expertise along with coordination and reporting responsibilities, making it a vital position within the organization.
With a salary range of ₹35,000–₹40,000 per month, this is a permanent, full-time position that offers both stability and growth opportunities.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop & Implement Maintenance Strategies: Create preventive, predictive, and corrective plans for machinery and equipment to ensure reliable operations.
- Routine Checks & Inspections: Conduct inspections to identify faults, monitor performance, and prevent downtime.
- Troubleshooting & Repairs: Diagnose and repair machinery breakdowns by replacing parts, adjusting mechanisms, or applying corrective measures.
- Preventive Maintenance: Regular servicing and maintenance of equipment to reduce failures and improve efficiency.
- Process Improvements: Suggest and implement strategies to enhance machinery performance and reduce maintenance costs.
- Collaboration: Work with production and facility teams to minimize operational disruptions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate logs of repairs, inspections, and energy consumption reports (daily, weekly, monthly).
- Inventory & Spare Parts Management: Track and order spare parts, maintain inventory levels, and coordinate with vendors.
- Budget Management: Ensure maintenance costs remain within set budgets.
- Tenant Facility Support: Manage electricity, CAM charges, and water bills, and coordinate with the facility manager.
- Supervision: Monitor shift engineers, allocate tasks, and ensure timely completion.
- Government Coordination: Maintain compliance and coordinate with relevant government departments.
- Mall Facility Maintenance: Track AMC schedules, handle tenant work orders, and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: Bachelor’s degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in maintenance engineering (preferably in industrial or facility management).
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
- Location: Agarpara, Kolkata, West Bengal.
- Age Limit: As per company norms.
