The Supreme Court of India (SCI) has released an official notification for the recruitment of approximately 90 Law Clerk-cum-Research Associate posts under Advertisement No. F.21(LC)/2026-SC(RC). Eligible candidates possessing a bachelor’s degree in law can apply online from 20 January 2026 to 07 February 2026 through the official website www.sci.gov.in. Selected candidates will receive a consolidated remuneration of ₹100,000 per month.

  • The candidate must be a law graduate having a bachelor’s degree in law (including an integrated law course).
  • The degree must be from a University/Institution recognized by the Bar Council of India
  • Final-year students (5-year integrated / 3-year law course) may apply subject to acquiring degree before joining
  • Strong research, analytical and writing skills are required
  • Knowledge of computers and legal databases such as SCC Online, Manupatra, LexisNexis, Westlaw, e-SCR, etc.

  • Assignment Term: 2026–2027
  • Nature of Engagement: Purely contractual
