Job Responsibilities
Mining Sirdar
- Supervise underground mining operations and maintain safety standards.
- Conduct gas testing and ensure compliance with mining laws.
- Monitor coal production targets and supervise the workforce.
- Prepare daily operation reports for mine management.
Junior Overman
- Assist in planning and managing underground mining activities.
- Ensure safety regulations and coordinate daily operations.
- Inspect mining machinery, blasting operations, and tunnels.
- Maintain production and attendance records.
Eligibility Criteria
For Mining Sirdar
- Valid Certificates of Mining Sirdarship, First Aid & Gas Testing.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in underground mines.
- Age: 18–30 years (Relaxation as per government rules).
For Junior Overman
- Diploma in Mining Engineering (3 years) from a recognized institute.
- Valid Gas Testing & First Aid Certificates.
- Minimum 1-year post-diploma training in coal mines.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of mining engineering & underground operations.
- Leadership and problem-solving ability.
- Understanding of safety regulations and compliance.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Salary Structure – SECL Recruitment 2025
