🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): 3-year Diploma in Engineering from a recognized Institution.
- Technician C: SSLC + ITI + one-year Apprenticeship or SSLC + 3-year National Apprenticeship Certificate course.
- Age Limit: 18-28 years as on 01-10-2025 (relaxation as per rules).
- Applicants must meet the educational and age eligibility criteria at the time of applying.
💰 Salary & Benefits
- Engineering Assistant Trainee (EAT): Grade WG-VII / CPVI Pay Scale: Rs. 24,500 – 3% – Rs. 90,000 + admissible allowances.
- Technician C: Grade WG-IV / CPV Pay Scale: Rs. 21,500 – 3% – Rs. 82,000 + admissible allowances.
- Additional benefits include medical facilities, provident fund, leave, and career growth opportunities in a PSU environment.
💳 Application Fee
- GEN/OBC (NCL)/EWS: Rs. 500 + 18% GST = Rs. 590/-
- SC/ST/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen: Nil

- Computer Based Test (CBT) at designated centers, e.g., Chennai.
- Part I – General Aptitude (50 marks): Logical reasoning, mental ability, comprehension, data interpretation, basic numeracy, general knowledge.
- Part II – Technical Aptitude (100 marks): Discipline-specific technical/professional knowledge with 100 multiple-choice questions.
- Call letters to be downloaded from the official BEL website after login; no physical dispatch of call letters.
- Shortlisted candidates’ results and merit list will be published online on the BEL portal.
