Job Responsibilities
- Picking Orders Accurately: Select items from warehouse shelves based on order forms or scanning devices, ensuring the right product, quantity, and size.
- Verifying Orders: Double-check products for accuracy before packing to avoid delivery errors.
- Quality Inspection: Examine each product for damages or defects and immediately report issues to supervisors.
- Packing with Care: Use appropriate packaging materials like bubble wrap, tapes, cartons, and fillers to protect items during transit.
- Labeling Packages: Attach correct shipping labels, including addresses and tracking numbers, for smooth dispatch.
- Warehouse Support: Assist in receiving shipments, stocking shelves, and organizing inventory for smooth operations.
- Safety & Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and safe workspace while following company safety standards.
- Equipment Handling: Safely operate warehouse tools such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, or forklifts (if certified).
- Team Contribution: Work closely with warehouse staff to ensure daily targets and deadlines are met.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education: 12th Pass (compulsory).
- Experience: Prior warehouse, logistics, or loading/unloading experience preferred, but not mandatory.
Required Skills
- Ability to lift heavy packages and perform physical tasks
- Knowledge of load & unload techniques and materials handling.
- Basic understanding of warehouse operations.
- Team spirit and ability to work under pressure.
- Location: Must be willing to work in Dam Dam, West Bengal.
- Other Qualities: Punctuality, discipline, physical fitness, and ability to follow instructions.
