Job Responsibilities
- Performing periodical and preventive maintenance of machines, utilities, and equipment.
- Troubleshooting and repairing breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime.
- Maintaining an adequate stock of spares, tools, and consumables for daily operations.
- Recording AMC details, vendor contacts, and service history systematically.
- Coordinating with production supervisors to schedule maintenance without disturbing production.
- Ensuring calibration and accuracy of gauges and measuring instruments.
- Keeping daily maintenance logs, breakdown registers, and service reports updated.
- Monitoring energy consumption (power, fuel, and water) and reporting irregularities.
- Following safety practices and compliance requirements at all times.
- Ensuring proper 5S and housekeeping practices in the maintenance and shop floor areas.
- Assisting in installation and commissioning of new machinery when required.
Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: ITI / Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience: 3–5 years of hands-on experience in factory or plant maintenance.
- Industry Preference: Candidates with experience in the chemical manufacturing industry will have an added advantage.
- Other Requirements: Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills with exposure to preventive maintenance schedules and safety practices.
