Job Overview
- Position: Project Site Engineer (Fire Protection System)
- Company: WILYMERCHANT
- Location: New Town, Kolkata, West Bengal
- Job Type: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher Eligible
- Salary Range: ₹22,000 – ₹24,000 per month
- Shift: Day Shift
- Travel Requirement: 75% site travel required
Job Responsibilities
- Supervising installation of fire protection systems (sprinklers, alarms, extinguishers, and suppression systems).
- Ensuring work follows fire safety codes, regulations, and design specifications.
- Inspecting and testing fire protection systems to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Monitoring project progress, including timelines, budgets, and quality checks.
- Conducting regular site visits and resolving conflicts or technical issues.
- Collaborating with the project team to develop efficient construction strategies.
- Preparing and submitting progress reports, certifications, and project documentation.
- Guiding site staff and subcontractors with technical support and training.
- Maintaining records of daily site activities, including logs, reports, and photographs.
- Ensuring safety practices are followed at every stage of project execution.
Eligibility Criteria
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Required)
- Diploma in Engineering (Preferred)
- Experience:
- Freshers can apply.
- Prior site management experience (2 years preferred) is an advantage.
- Other Requirements:
- Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%).
- Must be able to relocate or commute to New Town, Kolkata.
- Strong understanding of fire safety systems and construction site practices.
Required Skills
- Project management skills with a focus on timelines and quality.
- Knowledge of fire protection systems and safety codes.
- SolidWorks or CAD skills (preferred).
- Strong administrative and documentation abilities.
- Leadership qualities to coordinate with site staff and subcontractors.

Salary
- Minimum Salary: ₹22,000 per month
- Maximum Salary: ₹24,000 per month
