We’re looking for a technology and domain leader to lead our Global Wealth Management US Technology team in India, who will:
We’re looking for a technology and domain leader to lead our Global Wealth Management US Technology team in India, who will:
- help develop and then drive the technology strategy and roadmap for the Global Wealth Management US
- be responsible for implementing the cloud strategy and execution for some of the largest data stores and reporting platforms in the bank
- foster an engineering led culture of innovation and digitalization
- lead and develop an engineering team of data, analytics, DevOps, etc. in India
- have strong logical reasoning skills. The ability to understand business needs and translating them to efficient platforms is a key attribute
- have proven people management skills and be responsible for team motivation, career development, recruitment and retention
- define strategies and drive technology change within and across the organization
- drive delivery of several high-profile projects in India
- liaise with global stakeholders, drive forward decisions and signoffs
- challenge, when required to ensure the right solutions are being implemented
- allocate, utilize, and direct personnel resources to drive projects to completion.
Education & Skills :
You have:
- 15+ Years of Experience of leading teams working in a Technology delivery environment
- in-depth engineering skills, technical and architectural understanding
- deep understanding of data management, Java, mainframe processing, Azure Cloud, any streaming platform and knowledge of other programming / scripting languages
- good understanding of Agile methodology; able to lead distributed Scrum teams
- excellent process understanding and delivery management skills
- a professional with a career reflecting strong leadership abilities and managing a matrix organisation
- client focused with proven ability to motivate and challenge teams to strive to exceed client expectations and building collaborative partnerships
- able to communicate at all levels and with both business and technology staff
- open minded, eager to learn and self-motivated
- strategic thinker; strong conceptual capability.
