Job description
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Large scale Automobile Plant - Passenger Car Production "Material Handling & Supply of Parts to Car Production Line by getting parts from Vendors / Stakeholders"
- Expertise in junior category - Supply chain and Inventory Management
- Junior level - Logistic Management & Systemized material handling
- Material Follow up with vendors / stakeholders
- Knowledge & Should operate SAP Material Management software
- Supervise ,Evaluate and Coach subordinates (Casual Labors)
- Assist in forecasting to plan future requirements
- Determine inventory levels to ensure deliveries within Production plan timelines
- Identifies opportunities to reduce transportation costs and charges.
- Manages and monitors storage of purchased parts and finished goods
- New (Specification changed) Parts Stock monitoring & using inline Coordination
- Establishes procedures for conducting and valuing year-end inventory
- Automobile parts functioning skill (Components Function)
- Following FIFO inline
- Planning & Scheduling skill (Material handling)
- Industrial 4.0 is added advantage (Junior level)
- Handling safety training sessions & Campaign for subordinates (Casual Labors)
- Material handling equipment servicing & safety - Added advantage (Table lift ,Drop lift, Forklift, Tow truck)
Desired Candidate Profile:
- Should be preferably from "Automobile Material Handling & Supply Background - Junior Category (Full Time - Diploma from Direct Govt, 3 years of course duration)"
- Shall be deployed in all 3 shifts in rotation basis
- Full Time B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech related graduates are not qualified for the post (Please refrain from this job post)
- If candidates does not have aforesaid field of job exposure, Please do not apply for the job. Since we are looking for Subject Matter Expertise in mentioned field with Diploma qualification only (2 to 6 Years of experience)
