Jadavpur University Lateral Admission in 2nd Year U.G. Engineering/ Technology/Pharmacy Course through. JELET Examination - 2021 by WBJEEB for the Session 2021-22.

West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) will conduct common entrance test JELET-2021 and counselling for admission into 2nd year (3rd semester) of the four-year Bachelor’s Degree courses in Engineering/ Technology and Pharmacy in various institutes in West Bengal for 2021-22 academic session.         
 Tentative date of examination: 29th August (Sunday) 2021.

          Tentative date to start online application: 4th week of April 2021.

Eligibility criteria for admission in JU (LATERAL): 

The candidate must pass Diploma in ANY branch from an institute approved by AICTE. 

who are eligible for take admission into Jadavpur University any Engineering & Technology Degree Courses.

But But the candidate must secure at 

least 60% (45% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) marks or equivalent  CGPA in diploma examination in relevant branch.

Eligibility for B.Sc Candidates : 

B. Sc. Candidates are not eligible for admission in Jadavpur University through lateral entry.

Age Restriction: 

I. There is no upper age limit for Diploma holders in Engineering/ Technology/ Pharmacy. 

II. For B. Sc. Candidates, the upper age limit is 27 (twenty-seven) years as on 

31.12.2021.

III. For Diploma holders in marine Engineering, the upper age limit is 25 

(twenty-five) years as on 31.12.2021.
